Hi, my name is Kim.
I am a speech-language pathologist (Master of Arts, Certificate of Clinical Competence) and an enthusiastic helper of caregivers (parents and their “village”) — particularly those who are concerned about the “littles” in their lives. I’ve been working with children since 2004 and I’ve had the honor of working with families and children with a variety of diagnoses (Autism, infantile seizures, genetic disorders, Down Syndrome, language delays - just to name a few). As a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English), I’ve also had the privilege of sharing language strategies with children and families from various cultures and linguistic backgrounds.
My specialty is birth to 5 years (early intervention). I love seeing babies, toddlers, and preschoolers progress! And I love watching their caregivers gain confidence!
With the launch of Toddler Talk, I’ve condensed research-based strategies into simple, family-friendly strategies that families can observe, then use. I also love connecting families and caregivers to other speech-language pathologists and community resources.
The best part? You already have the desire, passion, and intention to help your child, nephew, grand daughter, or neighbor!
Thank you for letting me help you, your child, and your family!
